If you dark suffocating (in a good way!) dungeon-esque bars with crazy punk rock on most weekends Dark Room is where it's at. There's usually some free vodka during the week from 10pm to 11pm...

Bar review: Lower East Side Toy Company
Amazing ex-speakeasy spot with a long narrow dimly lit entrance in the back of a building, cocktails in tea cups and beer bottles in brown paper bags! The Back Room, also known as the LES Toy Co. is definitely worth checking out!

Bar Review: Verlaine
Verlaine has $5 Lychee Martini's till 10pm every day? Really! And,
they're strong too. I totally started feeling it after two drinks. The
high ceilings and the soft lighting adds to the ambience. Good date
place that is exceptionally busy before 10pm, naturally!
